Two Post-doc positions at the University of Osnabrück

The Department of Mathematics of the University of Osnabrück offers two Post-Doc Positions within the DFG-Priority Program 1786 for a period of 3 years each. The starting date will be the 1st of July 2015, the deadline for application is 1st of June 2015.

One of the positions is related to the project “Motivic filtrations over Dedekind rings” and should be pursued in cooperation with the research group of Prof. Marc Levine in Essen.

This project is divided into three subprojects entitled "The Hopkins-Morel isomorphism", "The homotopy coniveau tower over Dedekind rings" and "Gersten resolutions and purity for regular schemes".

The other position is related to the project "Operad structures in motivic homotopy theory".

This project is divided into three subprojects entitled "Motivic loop spaces and homotopy groups of motivic spheres", "Operads and cooperads induced from compactifications" and "Refined Quantum Cohomology".

The applicants should have interest/expertise in motivic homotopy theory and experience in algebraic geometry and algebraic topology.
