Research Seminar Arithmetic Geometry
Research Seminar Arithmetic Geometry
Thursday, 10 – 12 (c.t.), WSC-N-U-3.05
The aim of this seminar is to provide the members of the various ESAGA working groups with the opportunity to discuss their respective research areas before an audience of peers and thus, on the other side, to learn about and from others’ work. The seminar speakers will be postdocs and PhD students and the idea is to have a relatively informal seminar in a relaxed and open atmosphere so as to foster mathematical dialogue.
There is no prescribed format for the talks. The focus may range from giving a general overview of one’s research area to a presentation of one’s own results. They may even be prepared collaboratively, if there are volunteers whose research interests are closely related (if you wish to do this, please let us know so that we can schedule appropriately). Depending on the number of volunteers, each speaker will have one or two sessions.
